Add-ons (behavior packs) and texture packs (resource packs) change how Minecraft Bedrock plays and looks. Players download resource packs automatically when they join.
If your panel has an add-on installer
If your server page has a Bedrock add-on or content installer, use it, pick the add-on and restart. If you do not see one, use the manual method below.
Manual method
- Download the
.mcpackor.mcaddonfiles from a trusted site. - Open them on a Bedrock device so they import into the game.
- Create a new local world, turn on the packs under Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, then save and exit.
- Find the world folder on your device (in the
com.mojangfolder, underminecraftWorlds; newest date is yours). - Stop the server in the panel.
- Upload these files from that world folder into your server’s world folder (see File Manager or SFTP):
world_behavior_packs.jsonworld_resource_packs.jsonworld_behavior_pack_history.jsonworld_resource_pack_history.json
- Upload the pack folders from
behavior_packsandresource_packsinto folders with the same names in the main server directory, not inside the world. - Start the server and join to check that the packs load.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure the server was fully stopped before uploading.
- Check the JSON files are in the active world folder.
- Make sure the pack versions match your server version.
