Make a player operator

1. Open the Console of your server in the panel  and make sure it is running.
2. Type the command below with the player’s gamertag. Keep the quotes if the name has spaces.

op "YourGamertag"

3. Join the server and run /gamemode creative to test. If it works, you are an operator.

To remove operator status later, use deop the same way.

Enable cheats

Most commands (weather, teleport, gamemode) need cheats on.

1. Stop the server.
2. Open Files and edit server.properties.
3. Set allow-cheats=true, save, and start the server.

Difficulty and seed

Both live in server.properties too: difficulty (peaceful, easy, normal, hard) and level-seed. The seed only affects a new world, so change level-name to a new name, or delete the old world, before it applies. Stop the server before editing.

Not working?
