7 Days to Die crossplay

Crossplay only works on dedicated servers, with a maximum of 8 players, and no mods.

Settings

Stop the server, edit serverconfig.xml in Files, and set:

ServerAllowCrossplay to true
EACEnabled to true
IgnoreEOSSanctions to false
ServerMaxPlayerCount to 8 or lower
ServerVisibility to 2
WorldGenSize to 8192 or lower

Save and start the server.

Extra ports

Console players use your game port plus the next three. With game port 26900 that is 26901, 26902 and 26903. Ask for them in a ticket on our Discord and say you are setting up crossplay.

If the server does not start, check the log for “Server configuration is invalid”. It means one of the requirements above is missing. Test with a console player before inviting everyone.
